A behind-the-scenes video feature about our challenge-winning build on LEGO Masters, Episode 2: “Hero Shot.” My sister Lauren and I built “Lola and the Pollen Plot:” our minifigure action hero, Lola the Ladybug, plants a pollen bomb inside a lily pad flower, which explodes right as her froggy predator is about to eat her.

NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE - INTRO

In 2017, I visited this fairy-tale castle, tucked into a beautiful hillside in Bavaria, Germany. It immediately captured my imagination, and the second I got home, I tried to recapture some of its magic. This intro sequence, partially inspired by the opening of Beauty and the Beast, was an experiment with After Effects lighting and 2D layering.
